A recent collaboration between Edmundson Design and Right Lines Communications saw us team up for Berghaus, to deliver a prestigious limited edition programme for the European premiere of ‘Bonington: Mountaineer’ – a new documentary film about Sir Chris Bonington.
The decision to produce the programme was last-minute, so the deadline was incredibly tight. It all needed to be written, designed and printed within one week, in time for the premiere at Kendal Mountain Festival.
Right Lines Communications meticulously researched the life story of Britain’s most famous mountaineer, in order to write the programme which, like the film, attempts the daunting task of summarising the incredible life and career of Sir Chris. Doing justice to well over 60 years of adventure in a few pages was no easy task!
Edmundson Design was tasked with creating the programme using imagery from the Sir Chris Bonington Picture Library, while working closely with the Berghaus team and adhering to their guidelines.
The finished programme was delivered ahead of the festival and received glowing praise from Sir Chris himself.
